Lucy was waiting with Cupcake in the stables, she was stroking Cupcake gently making her very settled. Lucy was waiting for a girl called Erin, she'd never met her but she'd herd of her. I didn't know what Erin looked like or how old she was.

Erin walked over to cupcake's stall "Hi, are you lucy?" Erin asked "I'm Erin," she smiled.

Lucy lookde Shyly to Erin, she was always really shy when she met new people, "Yep, I'm Lucy, Hi Erin!" I said kinda shyly.

"So this is cupcake?" Erin said trying to calm the young girl "I was told you had twins?" She patted cupcake on the neck.

Lucy smiled, "Yep i do!" I said coming out of the stable and walking to the next door stable, I went in and Rolo came to me and i stroked him, "This is Rolo!" I said smiling to Erin less shyly.

I looked down, "Well nothing with either of them, i've just held the halter beside both of their shoulders, they didn't seem to mind!" Lucy said kinda embaressed because she hadn't done anything, she hoped Erin wouldn't mind, "I havn't done anything beacause no one has really been around to help, sorry, hope you don't mind!" Lucy said kinda embarresed.

"No that's fine, at least we have a starting point," Erin said "could i have the halter please?" Erin opened the stable door and walked in. She started stroking him all over. Down his legs, around his face, etc.

"It's fine," Erin took the halter a showed it to Cupcake "I'm just showing him it's nothing to be scared of," she said moving the halter closer to cupcake's face. When it was about 5 inches away she strted to walked around him still keeping the halter at the same distance away.

"nope, we need to get it on her first," Erin said walking back to cupcakes head "If i sort Cupcake out you can do rolo but i'll be here to help you," Erin touched the halter agained her neck. Cupcake jumped a bit "shhhh," Erin said calmly patting cupcake on the neck. She touched it againsed her neck again this time cupcake was fine.

I smiled, Cupcake was doing very well "She's doing great! ok cool, will do!" I said smiling.

(yes but you need to do it step by step you can't just rush it)
Erin started to rub the halter around Cupcakes body "yes, she's doing great." She walked towards her head and started placing it around her head.

(yeah halter breaking is getting the halter on them and then getting them to walk nicely beside you?)
"I know, but you need to make sure they're comfitable around the halter as well as when it's on them. They need to know that the halter is not a threat and will not harm them," erin said

(it's getting them used to being lead by you, plus getting them used to the halter)

Erin did up the halter "good girl," she said patting her. She took it off again. "we need to give her breaks in between to give her a rest," erin said to lucy.
