Alex walked down to the stables and walked into the stables and went to greet Caspain and Polo by giving them a carrot and went to get their food.

Pen turned Finns rugbiverbhis quarters and began to run a light body brush over his smooth body. She smiled and breathed in te deep smell of hay and horses. Penelope winters leant her head against her chestnut geldings coat and sighed.

Alex saw Pen and snarled and grunted, he hated her so much now, I walked straight past her with her horse and didn't look her way at all. I gave Caspian his hay net and hung it cearfully at the front of the stable.

Pen sighed and carried on grooming Finn. She was upset that Alex didn't like her anymore.

Alex patted Sandy and then walked back passed Pen not looking at her at all and then into the tack room. When I got in the tack room I sighed and then thought about how i really felt about Pen, I liked her, but, I was really cross with her and needed to clear my mind with a ride on Sandy.

Pen sighed and made up her mind. She would be cool and ask him casually. She placed Finns head collar on and then gave him a pat and took of his rug completely.

Alex stood there thinking for a bit then decided that he would wait for Pen, I gathered my tack and riding things and then went back to Sandy's stable.

Alex turned and looked at Pen after i'd put my tack on Sandy's stable door and my stuff down. Alex looked to Pen, "Alright, meet outside" I said then I went back to what i was doing.

Pen smiled and nodded. "Sure. "She smiled. "I hope we can still be friends, Alex. " She opened up the bolt on the stable door and pushed it open. She lead the gelding through and closed the door behind Finn. She lead him outside. She made sure the head collar wasn't too tight, then vaulted into his back. She sat nice and deeply and ran her fingers through Finns mane.

Alex looked to Pen, I was still in a bit of a mood with her. "Yeah" I said dully. I went in Sandy's stable and smiled when I saw him. I flicked a brush over him qucikly then got my bridle, I slipped the reigns over Sandy's neck and then put the bridle on gently and did all the buckles up. I got the saddle and placed it gently over Sandy's back and then went each side to straighten the numnah. I slowly did the girth up then put my hat and chaps on. Alex led Sandy out of his stable and past Pen, I didn't look at Pen at all, I mounted Sandy up carefully and sat down gently onto the saddle. I patted him and smiled then walked him on.

"In a rush, are we?" Pen asked, grinning. She was wearing her tight riding top that was very low cut, jean jodhpurs and ridnng boots and her hat. She was lokig very pretty and attractive today. Pen placed he hands onto the unstaffed or bridled gelding and nudged Finn into a walk.

Alex halted Sandy and turned my head around to Pen, "No, just getting on with it!" I snapped at Pen then walked Sandy on again.

Alex didn't reply, he wanted to trot and so did Pen. I squeezed Sandy on and went forward into a nice rhythmic trot.

Pen squeezed with her heels and Finn went forward. She stayed silent. She preferred it that way.

Alex patted Sandy, He was going really nicely. After a while we got to a long path were a few logs were down at the sides that had fallen off tree's or something else. I squeezed Sandy into a canter and sat nicely to it, I was so comfortable and nice. I headed for the first log and then flew over it with ease and then popped Sandy over the rest of them smoothly, I couldn't see Pen by this time, But i still carried on. I slowed Sandy to a trot and cut off the path on a back root and went through a small and narrow path, I wandered down at a trot for a bit then slowed Sandy to a walk and patted him and smiled and my lovely surroundings.

Pen kicked Finn into a canter, then gently asked for a gallop. She leant forward and jocketyed her way forwards. Finn sprinted up and over the jumps and bounded towards where he had seen Alex and Sandy go. Pen brought him to a halt beside Alex. She smiled at alex. "It'a lovely here, isn't it?" She said. She smiled at Alex and admired Sandy. "sandy's doing really well, you know. I heard a rumour that you trained him yourself, iis this right?" She asked, looking impressed.

Alex smiled and then as Pen pulled up beside me I Didn't smile at Pen and just looked to Her and as she talked i didn't say anything back, I squeezed Sandy on into a nice forward going walk and then cut onto another track. As Pen talked again of Sandy I looked to her and then just said, "Yes, I did train him myself" I said then turned again and walked Sandy on. I cut into a small track where you had to go single file and it led to a big medow.

(You were soo lucky to miss school today!! It was quite fun in the snow throwing snowballs and making snowmen though!!)
Pen smiled again. It was going to be hard to get Alex to talk, but she knew she had to try. or maybe Alex just wanted her to be herself. Pen smiled and then said. "Can I tell you as joke?" she said, turning back into the old Pen.

Alex didn't stop or look at her, "I didn't feel like it, duh" I said starting to Trot Sandy or as we got to a wider path, but still single file path. After a bit of trotting I came into a large open meadow and slowed down to a walk.

Pen sighed an when they came on the field circled Finn and walked infront of Alex
Sandy. She smiled flirtily then flirted. "Why would duh a perso like you not fel like having fun?" She knew this might get Alex to speak.

Alex halted as Pen pulled infront of me. I looked annoyed at Pen, "I don't like you!! If you really wanna have fun, I have an idea, Meet me in an hour outside the stables, with a swimming costume and towel, plus a change of clothes, please do this!" I said smiling, I didn't feel so grumpy now.
(I have to go and get Freya now, so won't be on for rest of evening, sorry!!)

Pen smiled. "That's the Alex I know. By the way, UI know." She grinned and nodded. She kicked Finn into a wild canter and raced back to the academy.
(Ok. Bye. Should the post where they are swimming be the 'are we just friends post?'? but alex has to say that he likes pen in this post, and then the next ine will be where she realises she might as well tell him she likes him.)
