((the course))
dressage - enter at a, in trot. at x, halt and salute to the judges. trot on again towards c. at c, turn left, and trot from h to k. between k and a, canter. at a, circle left 20m in a canter. at a again, canter to f. at b, transition to trot between f and b. trot to m. and between m and c, transition to walk. carry on round from c to h in walk. at h, diagonal across to f, in free walk. between f and a, medium walk. at a, trot round to c. at c, circle right 20m in trot. then between h and c, canter. at c, circle right 20m in a canter.then between m and b, transition to trot and then trot from b to a. at a, trot down centerline. at x, halt and salute to judges.
cross country - the first jump which comes as you head along the fence line is a 1 foot log. carry on straight and you come to the second jump, a 1 foot 3 beehive. the next jump is a 1 foot stone table. the next obstacle is a 1 foot 6 cabin, before heading straight to greet the fifth jump, a 2 foot uphill bank. turn left round a corner and you come to the next jump, a 1 foot 6 ditch, before then heading to the next, a skinny standing at 2 foot. go round the loop of trees and you come to the eighth jump, a 1 foot 9 water. to finish the course off, is another 2 foot, this time, a downhill bank.
show jumping - the first jump, is an easy 1 foot cross rail. the second is a simple 1 foot vertical, with no scary fillers. the third is slightly tougher, not be any higher, a 1 foot vertical, but with a colourful filler. the next obstacle on the course is a 1 foot 6 cross rail, with no fillers. before a 2 foot combination of two jumps. the first jump is the highest, so watch your horses approach to the double. the sixth jump is on the long straight, and is a 1 foot 6 wall. before the last jump, a 2 foot oxer, with the back rail being the highest, so make sure you get lots of impulsion.
