The 19 year old strolled forth, powerful, even strides, it was a few hours after dawn. She wasn't used to the time change and she was wide awake. It didn't matter, she would probably stay awake for ever. Multicolored eyes blinking, cold and uncaring, her gaze surveyed this park. Her gaze shot down to the miniature bull terrier that pulled at the black cloth leash it was clipped too. She snapped a command "Tiret talon." The voice was sharp and clear. The small pup hesitated, then obeyed, slackening. A hand went up and pushed the long blonde hair back behind her shoulder, and then pushed some of it behind one ear. She stopped in front of a tree, and leaned her frame against it. Her back against the tree, she tilted her head back, closing her eyes for a few moments. She felt a little tugging, and then in a flash the leash dropped, slapping against her legs. But the thing was, she did not drop the leash, the opposite side slackened and flapped against her leg. She looked up confused, only to see her puppy running away. The dog had chewed through the leash, and bolted, the thinner cloth leash had been easy against the sharp puppy teeth. Enraged, the girl began to chase after the dog. Tiret venir revenir! The girl called after the puppy, who only understood commands in french. Which happened to be the girls first language, as her parents didn't know how long they would be in France, and she certainly was in France for a longtime. Years and years of foster homes in France, both the English language and French had helped her through those years. The puppy, despite its considerably small stature, was incredibly fast. She continued to chase the puppy, only focusing on the small creature, her footing happened to be bad. Her left foot went straight into a hole in the ground, and she stumbled, then to her surprise, she was unable to catch herself. She hit the ground solidly and growled to herself, watching the dog run without a second thought.
(Sorry, I'll reply to all other threads either tonight or tomorrow, just had muse for this at the moment, and wanted to throw Carson out there, bleh )
Tiret means Dash, which she sometimes calls the pups name in French, just out of instinct picture: Dash
Translations
"Dash, heel"
"Dash come back!"
