As I trot the sorrel mare over to the first trail, I laugh quietly at myself. It took me 30 minutes to decide if I was going to ride english or western. I picked western in the end because I've barely rode english for a year and western since I was 3. Riding trails is probably my favorite thing to do. It's so peaceful and it gives you a chance to stop and think. After a while I come to a low river and slow down. The river was the whole cause of the accident, the whole cause of why I came here, the whole cause of why I lost my best friend. As I feel a tear slide down my cheek, I quietly scold myself and wipe it away. After we cross the river, I bend down and give the mare a pat. "Good girl" I say.

~ Haylynn ~
As I guided Char down the trails I wondered which trails I had wondered onto. I knew it wasn't whispering wolves trails anymore, so it was either starry skys or canaries. As we slowly walked through the trees I reached down and patted the big appaloosa geldings neck, after they had moved down the trail a bit she saw someone come across the river and stopped Charlie till they were across. After they were across I smiled to myself and asked Char to walk on again, once I was a little closer I said. "Hey."
(Sorry it sucks my muse is kinda crappy with her)

I jumped as I heard someone from behind me. Sunny, not expecting the jerky movement, stiffened. "Woah girl, it's OK" I tell Sunny as I pat her neck. After she hears my calm words, she relaxes and focuses her attention on the girl who joined us. "Hi, I'm Rebecca. Sorry about my horse, I just got her and she isn't quite used to everything. And you are?" I say as I smile at the girl.

(Sorry for the wait!)
I smiled and patted Char's neck when the girl jumped, not that I thought it was funny. I just liked how Char didn't seem to notice the other rider at all. He was such a good horse and made me proud. I crossed my reins and sat back smiling. "I'm Haylynn but everyone calls me Hylee. Its kinda of a joke with everyone really." I said, thinking of how I had gotten my nickname I didn't even understand the joke till someone explained it to me. "Where do you ride?" I asked with a smile.

(Don't worry. I can't get on a lot anyway) I was admiring her horse's great attitude when she spoke again, thinking about how Sunny would be like that one day. "Nice to meet you Hylee. I love your horses attitude. He doesn't seem to spook at anything. I ride at canary. What about you?" I answer, bending down to adjust my sturrups.

I smiled and rubbed up and down Charlie's neck, before crossing my arms over the horn of my saddle. "Nice to meet you too." I said with a bright smiled and then rubbed Char again, "Yeah he's a mounted shooting horse, its kinda his job to be calm. But his owner did him good." I smiled and then answered her other question. "I ride at Whispering Wolves. Is she your horse?" I asked with a smile adjusting myself in my seat.

"Yeah she's my horse. I got her about a month ago and she seems like a pretty good horse so far." I said patting Sunny's neck. Just then a question comes to mind. "How did you get here? Do all the trails hook together?"

"That's cool, my sister owns two horses." I said with a smile. I nodded and said. "Yep, as far as I can tell all the trails come together and just weave through the forests." I smiled, that was my guess anyway cause I had ended up at all three schools before.
