Jane Moore I walked into the pet shop. Kitties meowed and puppies barked. I walked over by the puppies and looked at the cages. A cute Golden Retriever puppy sat there, looking at me. His cute little face was wrinkly and so was the fur on his tummy. "Hi there," I said, sticking my fingers into the cage to touch his face. The puppy whimpered and I looked at his tag. "No name yet?" The puppy was a male and was just a few weeks old. I got up and looked for a clerk. When I found one, I asked, "Hi there! I would like to have that little puppy over there." I pointed to the puppy and waited for the clerk to answer.

The teenaged boy smiled, "He's cute!" He told her the price and walked over to the puppy and picked him up in his arms. Walking over to the girl, he streached out his arms to her.

I held the puppy in my hands. He licked my face and I laughed. I patted his small head. "Thank you," I said. I walked over to the check out and gave the clerk the money. "Um, what kind of food should I get for him?" I asked.

He smiled and dragged a bag of food on the table, "Use this until he is about two years and then give him the next age for this brand!"

"Oh, thank you!!" I checked out everything, along with a few chew toys and bones. "Hmmm..." I said, thinking of a name. "I think I'll call you Hunter!" Hunter barked his little bark and licked my hand. (Hunter is so inspired by my old dog, Hunter, who died last year because of seizures.)

(Leaving all threads to our new pet store workers ^^
I am so sorry... a couple months ago my dad had seizures early in the morning and if my mom hadn't been in there that second to turn off the clock and seen, he could have died... We got him to the hospital but it has to have been the scariest thing I have ever been through...)
