Cassie opened the gate and led Dante in, shutting it behind her. She led him into the centre and he immediatly lifted his front feet of the ground, in a half rear. Cassie unclipped the lead rope and halter and let him go, standing in the centre. Dante spun and cantered to the edge of the ring. A horse neighed in a near by field and Dante snorted. It neighed again, and he lifted his front feet of the ground, this time in a full rear. He looked majestic, the big black Andalusian looked like he belonged on the cover of a magazine. Cassie walked over and placed a hand on his neck, calming him. He came down from the rear and Cassie walked back to the centre. She whistled to Dante and he started cantering around the ring, bucking big. Cassie laughed out loud, wondering how on earth she sat those huge bucks and rears whilst riding him. Dante continued cantering around, and everytime he showed signs of stopping, Cassie swung the lead rope in his direction. She watched the beautiful muscles on Dante's withers ripple as he cantered, her heart filled with joy at seeing him so free and beautiful. He steadied up, head low to the floor, mouth open. Join-up. Eventually, Cassie turned her back to him and sensed him walk up behind her. She walked a few steps and he followed. She turned to him and rubbed his cheek. "Good boy!" she gave him a piece of carrot. She wrapped her arms around his neck. After a while, Cassie walked to the edge of the track, Dante following. Cassie began to jog and Dante followed her, breaking into a trot. Cassie laughed again, turning around and jogging backwards. She slowed and giggled as Dante rested his muzzle on the top of her head. She wriggled out from underneath him and he tried to follow her. She said to him, clearly "Stand." he obeyed, looking at her curiously. He was about to walk on when she repeated the command. She stood a few steps away from him, saying the command yet again. She broke into a run, ran towards her horse, grabbed a chunk of mane and pulled herself up onto his back. Dante turend his head to her, confused. She wrapped her arms around his neck and they stood like that, completly at peace with each other.
