"Well what is it then?" Sara asked, standing up too. "Please Lucy, let me know what's going on." She followed Lucy over to Moonlight and stood in front of them. "It matters to me, I hate seeing you upset," she said to Lucy. She had an urge to put one hand on Moonlight's reins so Lucy couldn't ride away, but she held her hands at her side.

I didn't reply i felt to upset so i just trotted with Moonlight back to starry skies and on the way there i saw James walking on his horse so i kept out of his site and trotted straight past him hoping he wouldn't take any notice of me.

Sara sighed as Lucy and Moonlight trotted away from her. "I tried..." she said to Desert as she walked back to him. Untying him, Sara felt the prick of tears stab at her eyes. She hadn't asked for any of this! Desert nickered softly to her and she stroked his neck, noticing her hand was shaking. Mounting up, it wasn't until Sara was perched on top of her tall thoroughbred that she realised she was crying. She leaned down and hugged Desert around the neck until her sobs subsided. "Why is she so mad at me, bud?" Sara asked, wiping her eyes with the corner of her sleeve. She nudged him into a canter and rode along the trail, back to Starry Skys. She felt angry rather than upset now. So what if she liked James and he liked her? It wasn't her fault. She'd tried to apologise to Lucy, it was up to Lucy to accept it or not. Sara rode back into the yard at Starry Skys and quickly untacked Desert, hosed him off and put him back into his stall before storming back to her room to chill out by herself for a while.

I felt really bad because Sara thought it was her fault so i went to Sara's room and knocked on the door hoping she would reply.
