Dylan walked with his white tee shirt and leather jacket pulled up. It was kind of cold out. He pulled the collar up, his shoulders pushed up high near his ears. He pushed his hands down the pockets of his new, dark jeans. With a sigh, he walked through the park, his pitbull Stassi blazing past him. He smiled watching her run around insanely, the blue nosed pit barking up trees in curiosity. Since this was a new place, she was very curious. The pit ran back to him, and stopped in front of him and looked at him expectantly. Whats up baby girl? He rubbed her ears with a smile and looked at his perfect, innocent, sweet little pitty. Some people were intimidated by her, but she was nothing but a sweet heart, she would never heart a fly. As he walked, he found a bench and sat down, before he knew it, Stassi came up and dropped a ball at his feet. It wasn't hers, and he didn't really see anyone around looking for it so far. So he shrugged picked it up, and chucked it far into the park like a baseball player would. The dog burst off excited, chasing after the ball as he laughed, a lazy smile on his face watching her.

Walking into the stables at the crack of dawn, Hetty's eyes were far from closed. Used to getting up at 5 in the morning, she was bright shining and wide awake. She moaned slightly and jogged forward, to waken up her muscles. Her eyes were shielded from the sun by her lifted hand, and as she arrived at the stables, she glanced across the block. Her new horse, King, had been here for 2 weeks, and was ready to be ridden. This was the second time she would be riding him. She greeted King with a carrot, then stroked his soft muzzle, before walking towards the tack room, her hands stuck in her jacket. Arriving at the tack room, her hand fitted the key into the lock and opened the door of the tack room. She opened her own locker, and took out her general purpose saddle and bridle, but took out the bridle with a martingale instead of the one without.
In ten minutes, King was thoroughly brushed and saddled. Hetty took a whip, in case she might need it. She put a body protector on, so that she was prepared, and then could tell for the future times she rode King if she would need a body protector. Taking him out the stable, she took him to the arena. She strode him round in a fast walk to get him going. It was still only 5:50am, but Hetty was prepared for the ride. She was soon pushing him into a trot, and he stumbled as he went forward. Hetty let it slip, as he straightened up, but the trot still wasn't perfect. Hetty pulled him back sharply, but with soft hands, so that it was just a quick stop. Hetty rode him into a gentle trot, but his trot was sloppy and he fumbled with his feet. Hetty gave him a sharp tap behind her leg and he went forward more promisingly. This time, King picked his feet up and went round for at least 4 laps before Hetty gently took him back to a walk.
Good Boy, Hetty praised her new horse as he improved from her commands. She took him into another short trot, and then cantered at the corner. She relaxed into the saddle and smiled as she enjoyed the canter. it was a lovely canter. The beats were slightly odd, but they could be changed with some training. She cantered him breifly on the other rein, before trotting out the arena.
Hetty and King trotted towards the park. As they weaved in and out of the trees, satisfaction seeped through the teen. She could feel that it was the right choice to get King. As she went through the trees, something hit the ground and King jumped, spooking and causing Hetty to fly out the saddle. Hetty got up, and gathering the reins, she walked through the trees with King and saw the guy that had thrown the ball. She strode up to him. Do you know what you have done? You could have killed me! Hetty stopped and looked the guy up and down. He didn't look too bad himself. She grinned, and softened her tone. However, you didn't kill me, and your cute, so I'll let you get away with it. She smiled and stood there.

Leaning his large frame against the back of the bench, he sighed, rolling his head back. Resting his hands on his legs, he looked down at them, he was a giant compared to most people. He didn't understand why he was so big, his dad was only around 6'6 and his mom sure wasn't too big. He was 6'9, how was that even possible? He sighed, a little self conscious about how big he was, but shrugged his broad shoulders and sighed. His blue eyes were dull at the moment, staring down at his sneakers. He sighed, moving his foot on the grass, then leaned his head back slightly, looking at the gray sky. Thinking to himself, he wondered how Jaims was doing, just thinking. He sighed his thoughts continuing to explore, he missed his dad, his mom, their old life. His old life, with all his friends and athletic scholarships coming his way, and his old girlfriend. He had been dating someone when his parents died, his friend for awhile Serena, and they had turned out to be more then friends. But then, not wanting to jeopardize anything, and the fact he had to move, they broke up, also realizing they were better as friends. His thoughts were interrupted as Stassi came and jumped onto him, landing her paws on his legs and she whined. He looked at her giving her a confused look, she wasn't afraid of anything, other than horses, she was frightened of horses. He didn't think there would be any horses out at the moment though. He rubbed the dogs ears, and sighed, then saw a girl, and a horse. He grinned, of course, there were people who rode horses out here. He looked at her, and his blue eyes danced in amusement as she started to yell at him. His face read clearly well you don't look too dead. He smiled, and laughed as she said he was cute. "Well, I'm sorry, but you scared my dog also, but thanks, your not too bad yourself. Thank you for not killing me about it." He grinned lazily, his mouth pulling up on one side looking the blonde over silently. He smiled, she was really pretty, and maybe they would be friends.

Hetty raised her eyebrows at the boys face, and wondered what was going through his mind. The boy she'd found, was large, not fat, but extremely tall. She was slightly shocked at how tall. her first reaction was to gasp, but knowing that was rude, she disguised it with a cough. Excuse me. Hetty looked at the ends of her curly blonde hair, before looking at the dog who she'd 'scared'. She wondered if the dog was scared of her, or king. The thought made her realise. Is your pit scared of me, or the horse? Hetty asked, laughing at her own comment which was actually quite funny.
She heard his next words and blushed, thinking, believe me, your much better than you think you are. But she didn't say that, she politely nodded. Thanks. And your kindness adds to it. Her swiftness to mount up was good, but at the moment, she didn't want to mount up and ride away. She wanted to get to know this guy better, she wanted to be friends with him. I'm Hetty.

Listening to her cough, he chuckled, he knew how she looked down and said 'excuse me' when he stood up that his height had thrown her off. He crossed him arms with a laugh "I'm not completely sure if I'm descended from giants, were still trying to figure that out." He smiled in a friendly way and relaxed his figure, letting his arms drop to his sides and the muscles on his body pull back from the tense stance he had been previously in. He looked at the pit that was huddling against his legs, looking at the horse as if he was some huge menacing creature coming to take her away. Well she was right, about the huge menacing creature, she was still young, and had a still slightly smaller than average look to her. He chuckled "Oh, she's scared of you Blondie. Why would she be scared of a big hooved creature that is a couple times her size? That's just silly." He said, being sarcastic, it was obvious she was scared by the horse she kept watching, with whimpers here and there. "Oh calm down you big baby." He said to the pit, and bent down to rub her ears. He watched the blondie blush and politely nod. "Ha, thanks, even though I'm really not that kind." He chuckled, just choking, he was only a big teddy bear, and his blue eyes laughed. He listened to her say her name, and he smiled. "What an interesting, but definitely pretty name, I'm Dylan." He put his baseball mitten sized hand out for her to shake with a friendly smile.

She smiled and looked up at him, and glanced nervously in his direction. She smiled at his comment, it was funny. Mysterious. Are your parents small then?" At Dylan's comment, the sarcasm didn't get through to Hetty straight away, and as she looked at him through the sun, she smiled. She relaxed. She laughed and nodded. "You're welcome." Her smile turned into a grin as she mentioned her name, and she blushed again. "Thanks, Dylan. She shook his huge hand.
