Rosie
I strolled down to the stables slightly bored and wanting something to do. Nothing lately had been intresting for me, i hadn't been able to ride at all, no horse and no chores to do. To a normal teenage girl not having chores to do would be a good thing, but for me it just wasn't. I enjoyed the chores you had to do for looking after horses, but right at this time i had none.
The morning was fresh with a crisp frost over the grass, you could see your breath in the cold air, it was a nice morning though. The sun was out and blazing through the trees shining over the paddocks. I could see the horses playing around with one another, it was a joyful sight and pleasent for me.
I came to the opening of the barn, the doors were shut but I still went in, it wasn't like we wern't aloud so I did what I loved doing. I loved the early morning where all the horses were up and ready to get out to the field and play, it was peaceful and quiet. It was slightly dark still in the barn, not much light was coming in so I flicked the switch over and the lights flickered on. They wern't the best of lights but they would do. I walked past the row of horses and looked at them, they were all stunning. Every moment I wish my horse was here, I knew he was coming soon from home but I hadn't been in contact with my family to arrange the whole thing. But everyday I did a bit more organising to get him over here, I hoped soon he would be here for me to ride and do my chores for him and get back to horses and the natural me.
I came to the end of the row of horses at the back of the barn, the horse here I knew, although the horse was not mine it felt just like the horse was and I also wished the horse was. A stunning horse who had been here when I arrived, The horse had caught my eye the first time I came down the rows of horses to see them all. This particular horse had become my favourite, A sweet, affectionate and stunning horse. I did not know who the owner was or the name of the horse but I sort had my own little name.
I always came and visted this horse, early in the morning, in the paddocks, in the afternoon when they all came in and finally at dusk at the end of the day when everyone left the yard. I always brought a carrot for this stunning horse, who was my favourite and I knew always would be. I wished to find the owner and ask for a small ride, just one would be the best thing ever. The horse look so good and I knew if I did ride the horse would impress deeply. I fished out the carrot and held it out for the beautiful animal, It took it softly and nickered friendly, I gazed into the horses eyes at peace with myself.
