Why Get A Puppy When You Can Get A Barn Cat?

Fizzy wandered into the jolly (christmas!!!) pet store to find many people buying puppys.

"Why have a puppy, when you can get a barn cat?" she muttered to herself.

Fizzy, walked over to a wonderful looking cat - the sheet said it was a barn cat - and stared a bit more at the small words...

Name: Tigger

Age: 9

Breed: Domestic Cat

Colour: Domestic

Vices: Can scratch if annoyed.

Disceplines: Catches many mice and keeps the stables mouse - free.

History: Was raised from a kitten at Low Fold Stables and was treated nicely. Lived around children and horses but was allways well behaved until the littlest daughter of the owner found him and started hurting him.




Fizzy felt sorry about the daughter issue and decided that she woould have him. Glancing around, she noticed a nice - looking store clerk, pondering, and decided to ask them.

"Hi, I'm Fizzy," she said happily, "Please could I have that barn cat, over there?"

She pointed to Tigger.

*pops in*
(I have a cat that totally looks just like that cat! my cousin named her Lightning cause he said she looked like she had Lightning striks on her XD )

*poofs in with smoke*
(Our barn had a barn cat named Tigger... she died a while back and I miss her... This holds up the memory of her though ^^)

*pops in too and chokes on all the smoke*
(I used to have a cat that looked like that too, but his name was Zedd. Haha all our animals get weird names...)

I smiled at the newest customer. She gestured to Tigger, the barn cat who'd been in the store for a while. Everyone wanted cute little kittens or puppies, not many people wanted an adult cat. I walked over to her and picked Tigger up. "Sure," I said. "Poor Tigger here needs a new home." I handed him to her so she could cuddle with him for a little while. He purred softly, and I smiled again. "Looks like he already likes you," I laughed.

"Yay, he's cuddly!" Fizzy exclaimed, "I love him!"

She made her way to the checkout and handed over the money.
"Thanks again," she could hardly speak from the grin on her happy face.

I smiled at the girl. Tigger would be happy with someone to love and appreciate him, even if he wasn't as cute as some of the kittens. "No problem, have a good day," I smiled to her. "And a Merry Christmas too!"

Yeah, merry Christmas and good bye!"she said as she walked out of the shop.
