I think I kinda like the first one better but I can't pick!!!
Prologue 1
In a dead and old forest, lay a cave behind a rippling waterfall a women screams in pain. She is on a bed of black and white silk, two wolves circle her and bare their teeth and snap their teeth, but not towards the girl, neither one would ever hurt her. She screams again and grips her nursemaids hand tightly, the white wolf whines and walks to her, letting her grab a hold of his fur. She was breathing hard and clenched her teeth as she looked into his eyes. He watched her with sorrow and pain, oh much he did love her. Her beautiful green eyes filled with pain and love, she screamed again and then convulsed. He whined and moved closer to her, her black hair was stuck to her neck and face with sweat. And then she smiled as she heard the cry of her baby. She was handed her baby and the wolf peered at him with pride in his eyes. He had one blue eyes like his father and one green eye like his mother.
An hour later their second baby was born, her mother held her as the wolf looked down at her, he couldn't help but already love her, she had her mothers green eyes. He looked up at her and she smiled. He sniffed each baby, and as he looked at the girl a single tear fell from his right eye and landed on her cheek, when he looked to the boy a single tear fell from his left eye and landed on his cheek. The wolf nuzzled both of them and licked their cheeks.
That night the wolf slept curled around the woman and her children, waiting for the sun to rise. Early the next morning the wolf trotted into the cave and nudged the women awake, one look at his eyes and she knew it was time. She bit her lip and looked at her son, as one tear from her left eye fell on the opposite one that wolfs tear had fallen, and then she looked down at her daughter, and her right tear fell on her cheek. She tucked her tightly into the black silk blanket that she was wrapped in, kissed her forehead and whispered something before handing her to the wolf. He carefully picked her up and nodded to her mother and his love.
He burst out of the cave and raced at top speed, he would get her to safety if it was the last thing he ever did, as he raced through the forest he felt the sun set on his back, he ran as fast as he could trying to out run the shadows. As the shadows nipped at his heels he ran faster, he could hear their hoof beats coming for him, he knew they wanted the girl and he couldn't let that happen, he raced harder and faster when he finally came to a cliff he slid to a stop and looked over his shoulder, he could see the silhouettes of the horses coming and dove off the cliff with the baby and into the dark abyss....
Prologue 2
Late that night a white wolf raced through the dead trees of his forest, carrying a baby. His body is cold and frigged with cold, he urges himself to run faster over the cold and frozen ground. He can feel their eyes on his back as he runs, they want the want the baby girl he has with him. He can hear the hoof beats behind him, they wanted to kill him and take the girl. He couldn't let that happen, he raced faster, jumping, ducking and dodging trees, logs and rocks.
He saw the river up ahead and raced as hard as he could and then he lunged over the river, when he landed he stumbled and looked over his shoulder. It was so dark that even his wolf eyes could not see the things that had chased him, just hear their snorts and stomp of their hooves. He heaved himself to his feet and ran to the baby who had not made a single sound. He slowly lifted her and ran...
The next morning he had reached where he was going, a small farm house where he knew she would be loved. He lowered the baby to the porch and looked at her lovingly, he would never forget her and hoped that some how she would remember him and her real mother. He licked her cheek and she grabbed his nose. He whined as he looked into her beautiful green eyes, her mothers eyes.
Finally he made himself hit the door and run into the forest, he lowered himself to the ground and watched as the door opened and a young women lifted the baby wrapped in black silk into her arms.
In the middle of nowhere a black haired women carries a baby wrapped in white silk, she was crying and trying not to stumble. Finally she reached a small group of cabins, she quickly passed all of them and went to the one that was hidden by the dead trees. When she reached the porch, she looked down at her baby and wished she didn't have to this. She knocked on the door and ran away, a man opened the door and looked down at the baby. He knelled down and looked after the women with sadness in his eyes, he knew what she had done...
