click Name: Kristen Anne Bois Age: seventeen Gender: female Appearance: Kristen is a tall girl with a feminine, toned build from years in the saddle and working on a ranch. She is slim with long limbs and delicate extremities, though she is slightly self conscious about her large feet. Her skin is light and mostly free of blemishes, except for the widely spread freckles that cover her cheeks and nose. Her jawline is sharp and strong, surrounded by bouncy red hair that she keeps cut around her bust line. Her eyes are large and blue with an intent gaze. Most of the time she can be found wearing a regular t-shirt with either a pair of jodhpurs or jeans, though that is not to say that she doesn't know how to dress up and look nice when she wants to. She usually wears make-up, though not too much of it. Just a little eyeliner, mascara, lip-gloss and base when she's doing something more advanced. Play-By: Lily Cole Riding Experience: advanced - Grew up on a ranch. Disciplines: Enjoys western disciplines, namely reining, cutting and a sort of mix between the two: working cow horse. Has also dabbled in some english styles such as show jumping and cross country. Personality: Generally Kristen is a very friendly girl, though she can get a little nasty when she's in a bad mood. She has a great sense of humor, but she can take it into sarcasm at times. She is confident and feels comfortable around people and hardly ever gets shy, yet it has been known to happen around guys she finds attractive since she doesn't have much experience in that field. Her passion in life is horses and she strives to learn to understand them better. She has become sensitive to their emotions and in turn to the emotions of humans, causing her to be highly empathetic. It may seem that she knows you better than you know yourself. Among this, she is also very intelligent, having always done well in school. The price for this, however, is being a real klutz, yet still a bit of a neat freak and perfectionist. This causes a bit of a problem in day to day life but she gets along without breaking too many things. History: She grew up on a ranch out in the country, a few miles from the nearest town. It was a rather cut off existence and since they were so isolated, Kristen was schooled by a young couple along with a few other kids at a small farm which was a far more reasonable distance away compared to the one in town. She was given her first horse at the age of four. A twelve year old 14hh mustang gelding by the name of Apple Pie. He was her best teacher and she spent hours everyday riding the dark bay pony. He died very suddenly a few weeks after she turned eight. It killed her inside, but by this time she also had Petrone, a quarter horse gelding this time. 15.3hh, dappled grey and beautiful. He was also a wonderful horse but he couldn't replace Apple. No horse could ever replace him. At least not in her eyes. Petrone won her many competitions in the western disciplines and she grew to love him. He was the one that caused her to become interested in the equine language. With his help, she learned to communicate more efficiently with all the horses and improved her performance dramatically. A few years down the line, her parents ran into financial trouble and she would have had to move into the city with them. She refused, instead deciding to pack her bags and move to an equestrian school her friends had heard about. Now she is here and hoping to kick start the life with horses that she so desperately desires. Riding School: Starryskys Equestrian School
click Horses Name: My Blue Day Breed: quarter horse Age: five Gender: mare Personality: A great horse when you know how to handle her. At times she can get a little aggressive but it's mostly just because she's craving attention. It seems as though Kristen is working for her instead of the other way around, the way she walks with her head held high, expecting her oats to be delivered on a silver platter and for everyone to fall flat on the floor in awe of her beauty. Perhaps she deserves this sort of attitude, since she can walk in to most shows without any preparation and mop the floor with the competition. Or at least, she like to think so. Disciplines: Most western events, some english but she has never competed in one. Appearance: She has a well-balanced and nicely proportioned conformation, standing at about 14.3hh. She is toned and muscular, having been trained on a very precise schedule since she was a foal. Her coat is the fiery hue of chestnut, which dominates her entire body, as there are no visible markings on her hide except for her muzzle, which fades into dark grey. Her eyes are colored grey, almost appearing blue at times. Vices and Quirks: Her obsessive desire for attention and the tendency to buck if she has been under exercised for a while. Sample Post: At least 100 words, the more the better. ONLY FOR FIRST CHARRIE!!
