I've just won the Championship and people are screaming my name. "Rebecca! Rebecca! Rebecca!" they all scream as loud as they can. Then, all of a sudden it goes from my fans screaming my name to hearing a man say "Cheyenne Beach! It's my last stop!" I wake with a start and look around. I'm the last one on the bus. "Hey kid, get off the bus! It's my last stop!" the bus driver says again. "Oh, sorry. Thank you" I say. As I get off, I hear him mutter under his breath "Can't wait till I retire". As I walk onto the beach, I see a few surfers, a few kids playing in the water, their parents yelling at them to be careful. I spread out my towel and pull my cover up over my head, revealing a. .... Oh my gosh! My bikini looks even cuter on me than it did when I put it on 30 minutes ago! It has a beautiful floral pattern that goes great with my figure. I lay down on my towel and put on a little tanning oil. I put in my ear buds and listen to One Direction, the most amazing boy band ever. With the most adorable accents ever too. Hint. Hint. And I start singing along to "I Should've Kissed You", under my breath, thinking about Harry Styles and Niall Horan the whole time.

Hetty sighed as Cama raced ahead along the beach. Her chocolate lab was a bundle of energy, and she was already tired. It was almost afternoon, and Hetty needed to get back to the park and eat her lunch. She smiled finally as her feet stepped once more into the soft goldenness. She wanted to ride, but she couldn't until this evening. She noticed a girl on the beach, and tried to alert the girl, as Cama was bounding towards the girl. Hetty changed her face to horror, and ran towards the girl, shouting. "Watch out" "Excuse me!" "Look out the dogs coming for you."

I opened my eyes as I heard someone shout. But not before the chocolate lab jumped on me. I started laughing as it licked my face. " Hey boy" I said smiling, after I finally got him to calm down.

Hetty ran up and smiled to the girl. "Ever so sorry, Miss. Cama is overexcited, she's only a pup." She grinned, and took Cama by the collar from the girl, clipping on her lead. Sarcastically, she told the puppy off. "Naughty girl!"

"Oh it's fine. I love dogs." I said as I smiled at the girl. "I'm Rebecca. You are?"

Holding onto Cama's lead, Hetty sat down next to the girl. She smiled. "I'm Hetty." Hetty took in a deep breath, "It's lovely to get out, don't you think? Well, for me it is. I do so much competing with my horse and athletics that I hardly ever have time to rest." She smiled.

"I know. It's the same with me." I say as I smile at her. "I ride at Canary. What about you?" I ask as I pet her puppy behind his ears, wishing that I had brought my dog today.

Hetty smiled and nodded, understanding. "Really? Me too! My mum knows the owner." She laughed at Cama, "Sit!" The puppy wriggled onto his belly. She laughed at him then looked at Rebecca. "We should go on a ride sometime!"

"Awww! Cute!" I say as I see the puppy sit. "Yeah! We really should!" I say after Hetty suggests we ride together sometime.
( Maybe they can run into each other again while riding on the beach? Or maybe on the trails at Canary? )

(Yep, that would work.)
Hetty smiled then glanced at her watch. "I must go, but I'll see you around. Wanna go for a ride, tomorrow afternoon?" She held firmly onto Cama's lead, as the puppy squirmed to get away.

"Yeah sure! I'd love to! Where at?" I ask as she starts to go. I couldn't wait. My plans for tomorrow was to watch the seasons of Switched at Birth for the hundredth time. It's a good show, but riding sounds much better.
