Daniel walked down the hallway curiously, looking at each room number. He finally came to Room 3, and pulled out his new key. 'Well, this is it,' he thought as he unlocked the door and pushed it open. 'Home sweet home.' Stepping inside, what he saw made him sink to his knees. A nice, comfy looking bed was in the corner. Atop it were a few piles of freshly laundered clothes. Daniel rose to his feet, and quickly crossed the room. Picking up a shirt and feeling its soft, clean texture, he couldn't help but grin. He grabbed a pair of jeans off the bed, and walked to the shower. He had to stand in awe for a minute; he hadn't had a shower for three years. Sure, he'd bathed...But not in a proper bathroom. This would be heaven to him. He put his fresh new clothes on the bench top so they wouldn't get wet, and quickly undressed. He stepped into the shower and let the water cascade down his back. He sighed, and then set to work scrubbing off a year's worth of dirt and grime. Soon, the water running to the drain turned black, as Daniel went through two bars of soap to get clean. When he was finally satisfied, he turned off the water and wrapped himself in a soft, fluffy towel. He looked at himself in the mirror, and could barely recognise his face. "So, I can look human after all," he joked to himself. Then he laughed. 'I must be going crazy,' he thought to himself. 'Having a proper home is making me delirious.' He shook his head and sent water droplets flying, then ran a hand through his hair. Regretfully, he hung the towel back on the rack, and pulled on his new clothes.'I will definitely be meeting with you later," he said to the towel. He didn't really think anything of talking to random objects, spending a year alone before he met Tag, it was the only way to keep himself semi-sane. He walked back into the main room and looked longingly at the bed. "Later," he said to himself. He grabbed the key and pushed it into his pocket so he wouldn't lock himself out of the room, and then he opened the door and stepped back into the hall. 'Well, that's me settled in...Time to see if Tag's enjoying this place as much as I am!' he thought, and started walking quickly back out of the building, so he could meet up with his beloved horse again.
