Blake's tired feet carried him into the diner. Upon arriving the intense smell of burgers and other fried foot wafted into his senses. Doing this reminded him that he hadn't ate anything all day. Considering his day had started at 5AM, it felt like a long time.
He sat down at a table and ordered some coffee while he looked over the menu. Blake was still in his vet scrubs, from head to toe. The dark blue actually looked good with his complexion and he overall looked good in the clothes. His identification card for the vet's office hung off of his waist. Blake realized he was surprisingly clean for someone who had to treat a large amount of horses that day. His light intense emerald eyes scanned the people around him. He was a shy person and liked to keep to himself. He however, felt the need to be social with at least someone on two legs instead of four.

CELESTE JOHNSON
Her blonde hair framed her face and her slightly demformed nose, she had broken it just one to many times. She glanced around the little diner and tried to see if she knew anyone. No one she knew personally but someone did catch her eye. He wasn't amazingly gorgous but he was pretty cute a few years younger than her own 30. She smiled and walked over to the table. As she came closer she started to notice his eyes an amazingly bright green, almost luminescent really. Celeste herself would've been quite pretty but after riding all her life she had mamaged to break her nose at least six times now. "Hi, I'm Celeste Johnson, I run a riding stable a little ways out of town. What's your name?"

Blake took a sip of his coffee before looking up at Celeste. He let out a gentle smile at her. He didn't notice her nose at all, in fact he thought she was a very lovely woman. The sun fell through the window and on his face, shining in his eyes some more bringing out that lovely green tint. Blake watched her come over and out of bad habit started tapping a pen against the table. When she introduced herself, he thought the name was familiar although he couldn't pinpoint it.
"Hello Celeste," He had a slight british accent but it wasn't too thick. "Celeste Johnson..." he repeated as he thought a little harder. "You three day event dont you?" He smiled. "My name is Blake Hunter, i'm the new vet in the area." He reached out a hand to shake.

CELESTE
she grinned taking his hand andmoving her's slightly up and down. "Yeah I do, I was on the olympic team the last two olympics I don't know if I'm going back though." she was struggling not to begin screaming in joy right now, not because she met a new guy which she had sadly been deprived of for a while due to her work at Willow Springs. While that made her happy, she was even happier about even the slightest trace of the british accent in his voice which she absolutely loved. Yep she was one of those people who loves british accents, she also had a bad habit of sliping into one around people who were speaking in one. "Blake, your the new vet for my farm aren't you?" she quickly realized her mistake eyes widening in horror. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't mean to it just... please don't hate me." she glanced over at him her eyes watering a tiny, bit. Yeah she kind of gets emotional about other people's opininons of her. Particulary the bad ones

He smiled pretty big. "It's always nice to meet another eventer. I do it as well, I had a shot at the olympics but I decided to finish my schooling. I'm shooting for next time however. Now that I have my degree I dont have many other huge obligations." He listened to her for a bit and caught the mock accent. He wasn't too fussed about it, in fact that had happened to him a lot. "Dont worry about it Celeste. I moved here when I turned 18. I'm used to it." He stopped tapping the pen and set it down calmly. Taking another drink of his coffee, he spoke again. "Yeah. Your farm is very lovely." He smiled. "In fact, i'm trying to find a new barn to board my horse Altair at. Do you have room by any chance?"

CELTESTE
She sighed in releif, she'd done that before lets just say one of the times she broke her nose did not come from a riding accident. She came here quite often so the staff new exactly what she wanted because when she came she always got the same thing. Two Chocolate pancakes and a glass of milk, every time. "Thanks judy." she smiled to the waitress as she set down the food on the table, the ceramic dish making a little clinck(sp?). She quickly poured the thick dark amber maple syrup over it and started eating as she listened to Blake. She swallowed down her first couple bites of hot fluffy pancakes, and spoke. "Thanks I put a lot of work into it, it kinda spent twenty years abandoned, my dad used to own it but he died when I was 12." she grinned at his request to board, she liked him and that ment she would get to see him more and because she didn't have a ton of boarders. "Yeah I would love it if you brought him out we have plenty of room."

Blake smiled pretty big. He had been looking for a while for a new place to keep Altair. "That's cool. So its a family owned center?" He drank some more of his coffee and the waitress came over with some toast for him. He started to crack his knuckles out of habit. "My gelding is a gentleman... to most people. He has pretty good ground manners withother people. He just gives me issues because well... he likes to mess with me." It was true, Altair even got along with other horses and barn managers. But messing with blake was just too easy for him. While he was an accomplished horseman, he still fell for the geldings practical jokes.
(I had to do this post from my phone so I'm sorry if it wwasnt long enough)

CELESTE JOHNSON
"Yeah its been in my family for about four generations now, it didn't always used to be a riding school, I think it started out as a small farm." she took another bite of her pancake, smiling as she did, the diner made The Best Pancakes in the whole world. She watched Blake as he spoke she found his eyes impossible not to look at they were just the best shade of green she could possibly think of, and were really fun to stare at which luckily wouldn't look to wierd. She laughed his horse sounded pretty cute. "My horse roses is great, gosh but I've been so busy with lessons and getting things filed I haven't gotten to rider her in a while." she frowned a little thinking of her brindled mare she was definently going to be off the wall hyper the next time she rode her. Celeste sighed a little bit thinking of the endless circles before she even got a moment in the saddle. (thats okay)

Blake watched her closely. She truly was a lovely woman. He had a thing for blondes, they always seemed to turn his head. He thought her nose waas adorable and he could compare almost. He had broken his ankle countless times so now whenever he did any strenuous excersize he could sometimes hear it cracking. "I know sometimes its hard to geet motivated to ride when you're so busy." He took another drink of his coffee. "I can only imagine what its like trying to juggle that, teach, and run a stable." Blake watched as the waitress finally brought him his food. "When I was getting ready to take my final during my last year of school, I hardly rode at all."

CELESTE
She laughed lightly her bright blue eyes sparkling. "Gosh my problem was just the opposite! I spent so much time riding and training for the olympics or the next big event I never went to college." she thought wistfuly about school, she probably should have gone but she was happy with her life now so it didn't bug her too much. "Doubt I would've gotten into a decent one anyway, I was out all the time during highschool and my grades showed it." she took another bite of her pancakes and continued to speak. "You've done good juggling a riding career and school, I just kind of flopped out." she laughed again

He watched her eyes, those were beautiful too. BLake couldn't help but smile a bit. "My dad was a bit of a perfectionist with me. Wanted me to get straight As, go to Harvard, play sports on the side, the only thing I managed to get were good grades." He stretched his long muscular legs out and felt the tendons pull. It felt good to do every now and then. Blake had long arms and legs and had to stretch them daily. "I bet you had quite the social life in high school though." He had wished he could've done more in high school, but being shy took its toll on him. "You probably don't need school. You seem well established without it."

Celeste
"Ehh," she squinched up her face thinking of her social life "it wasn't amazing I'm not what you would call amazingly social. I had issues talking about anything but horses and all the popular girls hated me for some reason." she thought about the cliche preps she had encountered in high school "I have no idea what I did..." then she laughed "all the teachers hated me too, my time keeping skills are... suckish." she had come into classes late so many times that she had to go to the principals office all the time, not just for being late to at least two classes a day but missing school so often to ride and train her horses.

Blake himself was a straight A student. But at the same time, he struggled with people. He was the awkward kid in school. The popular girls laughed at him. His senior year he had grown into his body, grew some incredible muscles, and developed better. After he had done so, the girls had taken an interest but he was still quite the awkward young man. After a couple one night stands he became even more shy. "It could have been worse. You could have been caught in the wrong crowd". Blake shrugged but still smiled. "Horses are a good thing to keep occupied with."

CELESTE She watched Blake as he spoke, he was really, really cute, his eyes were definently her favorite feature. She had finished her pancakes and was scraping at the maple syrup and streaks of melted chocolate as she spoke. "Yeah I probably would have if I wasn't so busy riding and competeing all the time." she thought about her dad, when he died it had affected her and her mother in different ways. Her mom had given up on everything, she just got angry. If she hadn't found Elaina she would've probably gotten into drug or something. "Crap." she muttered glancing down at her watch "I'm sorry I've got to go. I'm late for something... No I'm late everything." she stood up and headed for the door before turning around and smiling "I'll see you at my barn soon right?"

Blake slowly smiled at her. He understood how the busy life went. Whenever he worked at the clinic there was always some sort of stresser. He nodded at her. "Riding is good for everyone." He said simply after she spoke. When she noticed the time, he checked his own watch. He too should probably get going. Altair needed a bath and a free lunge. Blake knew the gelding would be impatient and give him some issues as soon as he got there. He sighed a bit then nodded at her. "I should get going too." As he left some money on the table for the waitress, he heard her question. For some reason he couldn't help but smile sheepishly at it. "Of course. As long as I can see you at your barn too." Ok that was dumb. Blake probably couldn't pick worse wording. It was part of his personality that was given but it still didn't ease it. "I'll bring Altair over too." He smiled.
