Name: Cadence "Cady" Hunter
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Appearance:
-Average height, but petite. She's well muscled out but has struggled in gaining weight for a very long time. You can tell she's making an improvement however, because you cant see any of her bones anymore. Despite this minor problem, she carries herself with an incredible amount of confidence. She has sharp features, a thin nose, semi bony chin and gorgeous baby blue eyes. She wears expensive clothing and that includes when she rides. She's usually seen walking with her nose up and often wears different sunglasses. She has light blond hair that she highlights, but no one can really tell. It goes a little past her shoulders and usually curls itself.
Riding Experience:
-Cadence hasn't been riding as long as her brother Blake, she's been riding for nearly 10 years.
Disciplines:
-She wants to event, but struggles with it. She's been told by many trainers that she has natural dressage talent. She also showjumps.
Personality:
-Cadence does come off as the type of girl you'd really dislike. She carries herself very high, and can be a bit of a snob. She's usually that way to most strangers except people who are obviously older than her or are the authority. She's been taught to carry a large amount of respect for people like her instructor, other teachers, police, bosses etc. Very few people can get close to Cadence but when they do they find she's truly a sweet girl. If you're in the same class as her at any horse show, expect her to be a bit of a bi*ch. She has a tendency to be very competitive and she's been that way even towards her own family members.
History:
-She was born in Great Britain, six years after her brother Blake. While Blake got pushed in the equestrian business, she got forced into music and art. Her father pushed her into cheerleading hoping she'd become the typical good daughter. Cadence learned to play piano, sing, guitar, violin, the organ and various other instruments. She grew to hate music and wanted to ride horses with her brother. Finally when she turned 10, she got enrolled in the same equestrian center as Blake was. She learned quick and often times challenged him even though his style was better at the time. She'd throw fits if he won, and this grew to be a bad habit at horse shows. Cadence went through 3 ponies, a couple quarter horses, a thoroughbred and a warmblood not able to find the right horse to match her personality.
She was a daddy's girl from the start and he spoiled her throughout the years. He was ok with buying her these expensive horses. Finally when he found Myth, he gave the awkward palomino gelding to her. Cadence's pushy and sometimes annoying personality, Myth was able to handle. The gelding softened up to her, and his kind laid back personality, started to teach Cadence to calm down. Finally having a good match, she followed her brother to the usa with Myth in order to find some good schooling for her and her horse.
Horses Name: Myth (Last Fortune)
Breed: Belgian Warmblood
Age: 9
Gender: Gelding
Personality: Myth is quiet, calm and serene. He's an extremely gentle gelding who anyone can ride. The fact that he's so calm and puts up with so much is why Cadence and him make a good match. Myth enjoys the little things in life, like a good pasture run, jumping, treats and the occasional bonding time with Cady. He's extremely polite and respectful to all other equines and all humans. It seems as though deep down he believes everyone is good.
Disciplines: Hunter, Dressage, Eventing prospect
Appearance: Myth is about 16.1 hands, a lightly dappled palomino. He has a very full tail, floaty movements and a smooth trot. He was at first a hunter champion but upon being bought by Cadence he's been under training for dressage and eventing. But his overall movement and looks do fit the hunter equitation profile. One very small light star, and no feet markings.
Vices and Quirks: Myth has a tendency to be lazy. Often times Cadence has to wear spurs when riding him or use a crop. Despite him being very calm around people and other horses, he has a tendency to be spooky around other animals. Dogs mostly. Myth is always the first gelding to back down from a fight, so he gets easily bullied in the pasture.
(Cadence is bringing her own horse but she still wants lessons from whatever barn she's at. Is that alright?
