MONDAY
I walked up to the horse box. I was just in the office and I was still wearing the same clothes. Except my make up was freshly touched up. That was the one thing about me. I couldn't go without makeup. It just wasn't possible. I was the kind of girl who'd stop to do her makeup with flames licking at my feet. Because of this I'd had many boy friends through out my life. I'd never gone too far, but I didn't mind a nice makeout session every once in a while.
I opened the trailer door. Lullaby turned her head and looked at me. She was too tired and hungry to complain about being left alone for so long. I squeezed in and gently asked her to come out of the box. She backed up. Her hooves making echoing clangs on the metal floor of the box. I clicked a lead rope onto her halter and led her out the box. Walking forward, as she walked back. When we were on the ground I gave her a big hug. I hadn't seen her the whole day. 'I love you girl.' She nickered a soft responce to the phrase she had heard so many times before.
I walked along the corridor until I came to stall 14. It was a well kept almost spacious stall. It had already been freshly prpared for Lullaby. I undid the lock and let her in.She turned around a few times, examining everything. I jogged back to the trailer and took out her grooming things. I kept them in a midnight blue waterproof bag. I jogged back and hung it on the hook next to the stable door. Next I carried her saddle and bridle into the tack room. I found a pen and a sticky note. I wrote Lullaby Baby on it and stuck it underneath the poll I had chosen for her saddle to sit on. I did the same thing under the bridle hook.
It was starting to get dark. I prepared her dinner. It took a while finding the right types of grain. Thabkfully, she had them in stock. I poured them into the feeding trough and said go night to my Baby. Then I went to find my apartment.
