Easy OREO Truffles 1 Pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 1 Pkg (1lb. 2oz.) OREO cookies, finely crushed (about 4 1/2 cups), divided 2 Pkg (8 squares each) Bakers semi-sweet chocolate, melted Mix softened cream cheese and 3 cups cookie crumbs until well blended. Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OREO Balls 1 Pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 1 Pkg (1lb. 2oz.) OREO cookies, finely crushed (about 4 1/2 cups), divided 1 Pkg white almond bark 1 Pkg chocolat almond bark Mix softened cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended. Shape into 25 balls the size of a walnut. Chill at least 1 hour. Melt approximately 3/4 pkg. white almond bark. Remove balls from refrigerator, using a toothpick, stick it into the OREO ball and dip into melted white almond bark. Place on waxed paper covered baking sheet. (Could probably use foil or parchment) Allow bark to harden on waxed paper, it takes about 15 minutes. While waiting, melt about 1/4 pkg of chocolate almond bark. When OREO balls are no longer sticky to the touch, drizzle the melted chocolate over the balls. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
