Tarlar lead Zephyrus into the arena. She scanned the arena, judging the jumps. She would set up one short line to start with, and set up all the other jumps as an advanced course. Yummy.
She put the reins back over Zephyrus' neck and rested them on his wither. She patted his neck, and walked away, trusting her horse to stay still while she was off setting up jumps.
Zephyrus snorted, and lowered his head, letting his nose graze the ground hopefully. Sigh. No grass of hay sprinkled on the ground. He swished his tail, impatient for the return of his red head rider.

Summer leaned against the rail of the arena to watch Tarlar. She had decided against bringing Firefly out, because she didn't want to disturb Tarlar's jumping session.

Tarlar walked back to Zephyrus, and rechecked his girth and bridle. Deciding that all was safe, she clipped on her helmet, and led Zeph to the mounting block. She had no prayer of ever ground mounting the beast, so she wouldn't even bother trying. She stepped onto the stool, and than swung her right leg over his back, careful not to kick him in the process. She slipped the balls of her feet into the stirrup, and automatically pushed her heels down. She held the reins in the thumgs up position, and leaned forward ever so slightly. Zeph began to walk, slowly at first, but than at a normal pace once he understood that she was asking for him to move and not just adjusting her position.
She walked him around the arena two times before asking for a trot. She softly squeezed, pushing Zeph into his smooth trot. She posted in sync to his outside shoulder moving as required, keeping her eyes up and looking ahead. She trotted a full lap, and than switched directions. After trotting another two laps, she asked for a quiet canter. Zeph automatically shot forward into a fast, long strided canter, but Tarlar managed to slow him down quickly.

"Practicing for your next beginner level show?" Macy asked, strutting into the arena with her horse and slamming the gate behind her obnoxiously. She had her Charles Owen helmet in one hand in her horse's reins in the other.
Summer raised an eyebrow at the girl walking in, making a mental note to stay away from her...

"No, but if you want, I can lower the jumps for you so you can practice for this beginner show you are telling me about," Tarlar said almost absent mindedly, an innocent tone to her voice. Sometimes the best disses are the unintentional ones. At first Tarlar didn't even notice the retort hidden in her words, and continued to canter, and went over the 1'6 jump line like nothing happened. Than she slowed Zeph to a trot and then a walk, and turned to face the cocky bi*ch. She chuckled at her own joke. She waited for a response, a pleasant look on her face.

Summer chuckled to herself. "What are you, nervous for the competition? I was just reminding you that the beginner show coming up will be your level and this freak's level over here," Macy said, pointing towards Summer. Summer nervously played with her silver cuff bracelet that covered up her tattoo. "You don't know my riding level," she snapped. "I know what level you are by the way you look," Macy said, mounting her horse. She started walking around the arena aboard her glossy black horse. Summer rolled her eyes, not caring to reply. Macy moved onto the rail, invisibly telling her horse to move into a trot. They're both pretty impressive, Summer said, not worrying at all. She'd be able to show them her skills eventually. Letting her horse be comfortable and settle in was most important for her.

Tarlar chuckled. "Oh, the insecurities of some riders," she said, shaking her head disappointedly at Macy. She doesn't even diss well... Tarlar noted to herself. She turned Zephyrus back to the rail, and had him return to his canter. She started the course she set up, a variety of double oxers, water jumps, and and normal pole jumps, all over 3 feet in height. Zephyrus easily cleared them all with room to spare. She kept her heels down and her back straight, and didnt stick out her butt in 2 point like other girls did.

"Oh, the insecurities of some noobs," Macy said, changing her words to mock Tarlar. She worked Toby at a canter, practicing flying changes with him along the rail. Practicing them would be useful for jumping as well as her favorite, dressage. Toby's tail swished as he worked hard as always, his muscles visibly moving under his glossy ebony coat. He watched the area around him with his intelligent looking eyes. Summer watched the unknown girl's horse's footfall. The horse had an elegant way of moving; probably a dressage horse, she guessed. "Are we going on a trail after this?" Summer asked. "Nice jump, by the way." She played with the silver cuff bracelet again, getting annoyed by this random girl's presence. At least I know how to deal with these kind of girls, Summer thought.
"It was a nice jump for a beginner," Macy commented.

Tarlar crinkled her nose. "Huh?! Where?" Tarlar said, slowing Zeph to a stop as she looked around the arena wildly. "Wheres the noob?" she cried out a few moments later, a panic stricken wild look look on her face as she scanned the arena. Her gaze settled on Macy, and her face calmed down. "Oh. There she is," she said in a casual tone. A few moments later a teasing smile grew on her lips.

"You realized it was you?" Macy said, turning her face off the arena in front of her towards Tarlar. "You know, this arena is really nice looking...but it would look nicer without you noobs in it. You're giving this academy a bad name," she said distastefully, crinkling her lip as she lifted herself into two point. She continued practicing lead changes, her leather-gloved hands and legs gently guiding Toby into the lead changes.
"Oh, shut the f--k up. You don't even know how well I ride, you haven't seen me ride yet. As a matter of fact, you don't even know who I am. Do you know Mark Argento? He's my father and trainer. You totally know him so shut up. And just so you know, there's two of us and one of you. You're outnumbered in many ways," Summer snapped.
Toby picked up the tension in the arena and began getting stiff, his lead changes becoming rigid.

Kayla walked down to the arena, she was thinking about jumping Marya today it had been a while since his leg had shown any heat in it and she was looking forward to jumping him, she saw a few people at the ring, 'well at least Marya likes other people' she thought to herself just as her bay arab nudged her shoulder "yes I know you want to jump" she said patting his neck, she stopped at the gate and looked around, there were two people riding in the ring both their horses a good deal larger then Marya, but Kayla was still sure he could out jump them, he had been show jumping since he was five years old so she was sure that he had a few yaers up on them, "huh does anyone mind if me and Marya join in on the jumping?" she asked nicley. she was kinda shy and was not the kind of person to give orders unless you insulted her or her riding. (hope u didn't mind me posting was borred )

(no its fine! the more people the better! ) "Um, I mind. The less noobs in here, the better," Macy snapped. "And Summer, you're lying. Mark Argento would never have such a lame daughter." Summer rolled her eyes. She didn't have to prove her heritage to this girl at all.

"Ahaha... Macy, you should just leave already... You are embarrassing yourself," Tarlar offered as advice, and than laughed. She scanned Macy. "So many errors... I will name a few for you, my dear. Put your heels down, stop slouching you look like you are humpbacked.... and loosen up your reigns for heavens sake!" Tarlar added with a shriek.
She put a hand to her forehead. "Ugh, the lack of talent Macy brought with her is making me feel faint. We should go Summer. It might be contagious," she said, starting to refer to Macy purely as a disease.

"We don't have to leave just because of her. We were here first," Summer said, her eyes narrowing at Macy.
"Only you would know what a bad rider looks like, because you are one," Macy said. She pointed her ebony horse towards a jump, and quietly and smoothly went over it. In sync with her horse, she moved into a graceful two point, landing perfectly and going back to the rail to jump it again.

(yeah no worries I knew that ) Kayla had to laugh to herself, this was just like what happened between her and Maddi's friend Sydney, "excuse me" she said raising her eyebrows at Macy and then smiling lightly "I have been show jumping since I was six and I can now jump five feet high" she said in a plane annoyed voice, and then she laughed at what the other girl on the horse said, before walking into the areana she stopped by the girl at the gate "I'm Kayla by the way" she said before walking into the areana and standing in front of Marya "bow" she said to the blood bay gelding and he lowered himself to the ground in bow, Kayla walked up and swung her leg over his back when she was settled in "up Marya" she said he stood in a perfectly good form, "why are you riding with other people when its obisse you can't handle anyone who might be better then you are" she said with a smirk on her face, she was shy but she had a devis smile.

"I was jumping within my first year of riding. Mind you, I started riding when I was five," Macy said, rolling her eyes. She pointed her horse towards another jump, going into three point rather than two point. The jump was easy and simple, there was no need to get all over exaggerated over it like the other girls. Plus my balance is good enough to be in just three point, Macy thought to herself. Toby moved gracefully around the arena, but still maintaining a good speed.
"Cool, I'm Summer, I'm new," Summer said with a smile. "That's so cool," Summer commented on her horse bowing. "What's your horse's name? Marya?"

Tarlar turned, and saw Kayla. She blushed, she hadn't noticed the girl walk in. "My apologies!" she cried out honestly, "I'm sorry I didn't answer you, I was having a moment," she said, her bright blue eyes pleading for forgiveness. She turned her gaze to Macy, her eyes quickly narrowing into fiery orbs of distaste. "I, also, have been riding for a long time. I grew up on the back of a horse, so if I am a noob, I'd hate to think of what you would be classified as," she spat back, her temper really starting to rise. For the past few minutes, she had somewhat been joking around, but now she was really starting to get mad.

"I'd classify myself as a high level rider," Macy replied, slowing Toby down to a working trot to practice transitions. Toby responded quickly, keeping his head raised and his tail gently swishing, and indication he was working hard.
"So..who wants to trail ride now?" Summer suggested, noticing everyone was getting frustrated.

Kayla ignored Macy and turned back to Summer "Nice to meet you, I have been riding here for about six months or more" she said with a shrugg and patting Marya's neck before turning back to Summer "yeah Marya was trained by a renowned trick rider, Barbra Cyrus, she's done a lot with her life she has won many show jumping events too and she has been on the United Stats Equistrian team" she said a bit proudly, that she owned a horse that Barbie had trained "she owns whispering wolves" she said and then laughing "well yes and no, his name is Super Country Cowboy but I call him Marya for short" she said smiling as he twitched his ears when she said his name.
Kayla turned back to Tarlar and smiled "its totally fine" she said raising her hands up "I know whats it like to deal with a beep" she said smiling she didn't generly cuse at people so she used dirky words that her and her friend T made up, "I get it she's a snoob" Kayla said smiling and kicking Marya into a slow walk, "get, get" she said and he moved to a speed walk she wanted him to be warmed up before jumping him.
Kayla turned back to Macy "well I don't dought your riding abitly it just ticks me off when people act batter then one another!" she said and then turning back to Summer "a trail ride sounds awesome they such beautiful trials here too" she said smiling.

"Oh cool..yeah I can see why you call her Marya for short," Summer said with a friendly laugh, "You're going to have to fill me in on this school 'cause I'm a nooooobbbb."
"Good. You shouldn't doubt my abilities at all," Macy said, keeping her head high as she cantered over a jump again with Toby. Toby picked up his long Warmblood legs neatly over the jump, making the jump look simple and smooth. Macy smiled at Toby's ease over the jump, proud of him and herself for fixing his past jumping problem. She gave him a pat and headed towards the jump again on the left lead to mix it up a little.

"Than why am I doubting them?" Tarlar muttered as she turned Zephyrus around, prepping him to redo the course. After doing again, she might change some of the jumps heights... hmmm
She leaned her weight forward a bit, and softly squeezed her legs into Zephs sides. Zeph went into a trot and then transitioned into a canter when asked. She angled him to go over the first jump down the center. He took the jump a bit long, but that wasn't much of a problem since the jump wasn't high. He took the next jump in the line just fine though. She turned him left and made a circle right to do a roll over to the next jump.

(oh yeah and both of u can call me KM everyone here shortens their names a bit ) Kayla smiled "yeah I am not sure why his name get shortened to that its just always been that name since he was younger," she said smiling "well they have awesome trails great arenas and the owner and instructers are awesome" she said smiling and then turning back to Macy "jeez mellow out will you" she said smirking lightly, she barley even rocked her hips and he went into a nice trot, after a few minutes of doing this she barley rocked her hips again sending Marya into a nice even canter she pulled him around and went over a jump when he landed it was just a light thud, she even her back and moved threw the rest of the jumps she pulled him down to a collected trot, "that's my pretty boy" she said to him as she lapped the arena some more.

"So how do I arrange lessons and stuff? Cause I won't be able to tell if I'm doing something wrong..is there an equestrian team?" Summer asked.
"Your doubts only come from the mind of a noobish equestrian," Macy said, rolling her eyes as she landed a jump again.

Tarlar finished the course and went to the center of the arena to be out of everyones way. She decided she might as well join the conversation. "My horse is named Zephyrus, but I call him Zeph or Zephyr for short, since I am not creative enough to make up something like Marya," she said smiling. "What breed of horse is he?" she asked. She pat Zeph on the withers with her right hand lovingly.

Macy cantered past the three girls, coming dangerously close just to annoy them. "Having a beginner's meeting?" she said with a smirk.
"I have a thoroughbred named Catching Fireflies, but I call him Firefly for short," Summer chimed in, trying to be social. Her blackberry vibrated in her pocket; she got a text, and read it quickly. She typed back a quick response and shoved the phone back into her pocket, not wanting to be rude to the other two girls.

"I think you just need to talk with Gena the owner of the barn she knows all that stuff" she said smiling "I don't think there is an equestrian team here, and there are three instructers here including Gena, I know one of them Maddie and the other one I have never met I think her name is Carrie" she said smiling and ignoring Macy, 'even Sydney wasn't that bad' she thought to herself her and Sydney had busted heads pretty bad the first day Kayla had gotten to the stables she hadn't seen anymore of Sydney and she was thankful for that, "hey how long have you guys owned your horses?" she asked all of them, "and Marya is three parts Aarbian and one part Appaloosa" she said smiling everyone thought Marya was a full arab most of the time other then the light sprikle down his back and onto his butt, but you couldn't see them unless you looked close "really that's awesome my best friend owns a 18 hand TB stallion." she said smiling.

"I've owned Firefly for only a year...he's only like three," Summer said. "Maybe I could arrange an equestrian team here! That would be awesome. My dad would love to be the trainer for it; he's obsessed with critiquing everyone. This school should have a team, I'm surprised there isn't one," Summer said.
Macy worked her horse in the background, going over the course with ease. She dismounted Toby to raise the poles by two holes and then mounted Toby again, trying the course again. This time, she did it in two point since it was a little higher. She kept her hands neatly above his neck, not even leaning on it, her legs lightly pressed against his side, weight in her heels. She had excellent balance. She smiled as she cleared the jumps with ease and gave Toby a pat.

"I have had Zephyrus for one year, but I had my eye on him for 6 months previous to buying him, I wanted to make sure his training turned out well," Tarlar said. "This guy is a Dutch Warmblood," she added, eying his large hindquarters, the opposite of a thoroughbred and their powerful front. "How long have you been with Marya?" she asked.
