Cassie asked her excited young stallion into canter, and headed towards the first jump. They were doing a 3 foot course, as they hadn't competed in a while, but Dante could do this in his sleep! He flew over the first jump, then Cassie made a nice turn and steered into the second, then the third. Both of these went well, Dante soaring over them as if they weren't there. Number four was a pretty easy turn, then number five which was a little tighter. They managed to clear it, but between five and six, Cassie struggled to keep Dante under control, and they cleared six, but Cassie heard his foot clunk against the pole. She listened out for it to hit the ground, but didn't hear it - she wasn't sure if she had or not. Seven was simple, and eight was a little tight again, but Cas was prepared this time and collected him before it. Nine was a double, and they cleared it easily. Cassie trained Dante over doubles, so as to keep him under control, so they were used to them. Ten was a little more complicated, and Cassie felt D panic, so she simply tapped him with her crop and he flew, jumping it twice as big as he should have. Eleven was great, then back round to twelve, a massive leap then a sort -of complicated turn into thirteen. They managed to get over thriteen, Dante doing a huge catleap, and Cassie flew foward, but she corrected herself and they cantered steadily though the finish. Cassie grinned and patted her stallion hard on the neck - she knew they'd doen really well, and their time was pretty good. She was proud of her boy. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the pole was still in place. Thank god!

Shera mounted up onto her Marwari, Aashiq and smiled. "I believe in you boy." With a flash of tail, they were set off at a fast-paced gallop. The air was crisp and dew was still on the grass out of the ring. The first jump was a three foot oxar and they cleared it easy as pie. The second jump was a single pole and was also easy. They sped up in between the jumps are were going too fast at the next oxar. Clipping the pole, it tumbled to the ground. "It's okay boy." She spoke as they galloped on. The rest of the jumps were not clipped and they finished with one pole down. "You were great." She whispered as she drank from her waterbottle outside of the gate. Turning it over, she poured some onto Aashiq's muzzle. He pursed his lips and drank some lightly.
