SAMANTHA FLOCKER
I walked Tigger around the rail, waiting for Gena to finish what ever she was doing so she could come up to the ring. I pulled my self up into two point, pushing my heels down, throwing my shoulders back and looking up. While I waited I was content to let my self daydream about what was coming up in the lesson. I pictured me and tigger flying over verticals and oxers. and gliding through bounces. my heart soring with each image of me flying with my partner. His coat flashing in the sun as we cantered up to the fence. I couldn't wait to get started.

MOLLY
Molly felt a bit frisky and I wouldn't blame her! This was a new barn for her and she wasn't used to it yet. In two-point, I streached down my heels and kept my eyes set forward. I couldn't wait for the lesson! I heard we would be doing a lot of jumping!!
GENA
I had been looking over the two girls files to make sure I remembered what they can do and now I headed to the ring. The two girls were up in two-point and were looking pretty good! "Molly, bring your legs back a bit! Samantha, bring your arms forward some!" I stood in the center of the ring and yelled "Posting trot!"

SAMANTHA FLOCKER I corrected my hands like Gena asked and pickef up my posting trot, rising and falling with his stride. Once I was comfortable with his gaits I started looking around, Molly was going really fast, though she seemed completely in control. I flashed her a smile and kept trotting.

GENA I watched them rise and fall, rise and fall. After a while, I said, "Okay, both of you line up behind one another, on the rail." I pointed to a spot and watched them arrive there quickly. "We are going to pick up the canter and I want you two to work on staying well in the seat. Anna, you may begin at the trot then go into the canter." I knew both of the girls were up for a nice canter and I was going to give them it. MOLLY I loved how Molly was always up for some fun. I smiled back at Sam and continued posting. When Gena called out to us, I hastened and joined Sam at the rail. My heart started beating faster, I couldn't wait! I loved Molly's canter, so smooth, SO FAST! It was nothing like her gallop but it was still pretty amazing. Leaning forward, I patted Molly's neck and looking at her eyes... she couldn't wait either. She knew what came next!

SAMANTHA FLOCKER
as Molly came to a halt, I quickly entered my posting trot, soon I was cantering, my hips rolling with the motion. Tigger's canter was easy to ride but at the same time pretty bouncy. I almost completelty zoned out, it was just me, and the paint gelding. But before I knew it, I was pulling back and coming to a halt behind Molly and Molly.

MOLLY
Now it was my turn to canter, I clucked and squeezed Molly into a fast trot but I soon slowed it a bit. Now I asked for the canter and she took a while like usual. She trotted as fast as she could and then pulled her legs into a canter. We glided down the rail of the ring. My hair was down and flying out behind me along with Molly's mane and tail. I didn't bounce but it took a lot to keep her slow and I wasn't perfect at it just yet. It was a pretty nice canter and I stopped right behind Sam.
GENA
While they were finishing their canter, I had set up two cross-rails, one verticle, and the barrels. "Okay girls, jump both cross-rails traching right, then turn and go over the verticle, followed by the barrels. Keep your horses quitely cantering and don't let them break. You may begin Samantha!" My full confadence in their riding showed through this course.

SAMANTHA FLOCKER
I picked up my canter, smoothly rolling my hips with the motion as I aproached the line. I brought myself into two point as we sailed over the jump. we came down and cantered on over the second cross rail. we turned to the vertical, I went over smoothly, and then a proached the barrels. I held him back until a few strides before the barrels and then soared over. As we landed though I felt my balance being thrown off and fell onto his nrck, "sorry boy." I mumered and went back behind molly

MOLLY
I watched Sam go over the jumps really well and it set a smile to my lips. "Great job, Sam!" When she came to a halt behind me, I picked up a fast canter and spoke to her under my breath. "Molly, it's okay girl. Calm and quite. Smooth and slow." She seemed to understand a bit because she felt more relaxed and willing beneith me. The first and second jump went over so smoothly that I could bearly tell we went over them. We made a wide turn and came face to face with the verticle. I held her back then preformed a press release. The barrels arived soon enough and Molly appoched them, lifting both hoofs up together and springing off her hinds. My two-point held my arched back and my eyes thrown forward. The landing wasn't the least bit hard and we smoothly cantered to Sam and Tigger. She took a while to stop so I ended up beside her. I slowely backed up to my assigned spot.
GENA
Both girls showed that they wern't afraid to work hard and try their best. Time had run out and I sent them off around the ring to cool out. I sat in the middle of the ring and asked them a question. "Hey, what would you like to do tomorrow? Jumping, dressage, XC, trail, or western?" Well, I was up for some fun, so I had decided that they could choose for a fun, choosing day of riding.

MOLLY
I smiled, "Me too!" I was so excited, it would be fun! I knew that Molly would be fast and excited but hopfully she wouldn't go galloping like what had happened before!
GENA
I smiled at both of the sweet girls, "Sounds like a plan!"
